The Next NormalX: Why?
Register today!

As our country continues to deal with the COVID-19 pandemic and the unrelenting barrage of social injustices Black people are facing, one thing has become clear to ministers and lay leaders of the Seventh-day Adventist Church: we cannot do church the way we have always done it. We now have an unprecedented opportunity to reimagine how we in Black ministries minister to and evangelize this disproportionately affected demographic.

While we hear often of the time when we can get “back to normal,” I think we can all agree: there is no going back to normal. Just as Jesus's evangelistic methods were a radical departure from the norm of His day, we too must now rethink much of what we have considered “normal evangelism.”

For this reason, I am excited to invite you to “The Next Normal X: Evangelism in the Age of COVID-19 and #BlackLivesMatter” - a series of carefully curated workshops designed for pastors, ministry leaders, and interested lay people - sponsored by the Southeastern California Conference’s Black Ministries Department, the North America Division of Seventh-day Adventists’ Ministerial Department, Breath of Live Television Ministries, Message magazine and hosted by the evangelist for Black Ministries.
